Workshop activity
At Questacon we consider STEM to be a noun rather than an acronym. It’s a descriptive term that links together common practices that are found within the fields of not just science, technology, engineering and maths but are also increasingly become common in the humanities and arts.
The Protostorming Activity is a way to illustrate these STEM practices and for participants to prepare their minds for creative thinking, looking at their world in a new way and having some fun. Because when it comes down to it, it wouldn’t be a visit to Questacon without having a fun, collaborative learning experience.
