The West has introduced the Graduate Skilled Migration List in a bid to increase their share in Australia’s booming international education market. The list will offer high achieving international students who have graduated with a PhD, Masters or Honours degree from Western Australian universities a pathway to skilled migration.
The 2018-2019 state budget revealed that the Western Australian education system will benefit from a $22.2 billion investment over the next four years, with a significant portion of this funding being directed towards infrastructure and classroom support.
The Australian Government’s National Innovation and Science Agenda will enter its final stage, with over $500 million in funding being allocated towards the promotion of STEM participation and digital literacy. The subject of technological innovation is further explored through the Diversity in Tech theme of the 2019 edition of The Good Careers Guide.
